Getting the Home Ready for Canadian Thanksgiving

What are you thankful for this year? As 2014 comes to an end, Thanksgiving gives us a chance to reflect on how the year has gone and what changes can be made for the upcoming year. It's a reminder to be grateful for the positives in life and maybe even the things you consider negatives that have helped you to grow.

Okay this post is getting kind of heavy, let me take it down a notch. One of the great things about Thanksgiving is well the food (of course, mouth watering turkeyyyy) but also the gatherings of friends and families. So are your ready to host the best thanksgiving dinner/lunch ever? Whether you're a newbie or a veteran when it comes to getting the home ready for the occasion, it's always nice to have some ideas and inspiration to get the creative juices flowing. So we've come up with a list of DIY's ideas to help decorate the home.

Felt Maple Leaf Coasters

This is after all our Canadian edition of Thanksgiving, how can it we not start off with the iconic Canadian symbol. The Maple Leaf. Make larger versions of these and turn them into pot holders/trivets.
