Interior Design Show 2012

The Felt Store Booth at IDS2012
The Interior Design Show 2012 has come and gone but the beautiful images and compositions still remain embedded in our minds. We would first and foremost like to thank everyone who came to visit our booth – thank you for your compliments, insights and overall interest in The Felt Store. We are very proud to say that we received the Gold Award for Best Booth Design: 50sq. ft – 199sq ft.! Congrats to all of the other winners on their beautiful designs! We are extremely happy with the overall response we received at the Interior Design Show, and were excited to see so many designers use felt to enhance their work! With that being said, feast your eyes on the exquisite pieces - which of course incorporate felt - created by some of our favourite designers at The Interior Design Show 2012.

RAW Design with Mark Tholen

If you were at IDS2012 then you know this entry sculpture by RAW Design in collaboration with Mark Tholen was a MUST SEE! This stunning piece created with The Felt Store's F-1 Felt, shows the versatility of felt and is proof that with a little imagination and creativity felt can be turned into a magnificent work of art.

Fishtnk
Fishtnk is a Toronto based studio focused on multidisciplinary design, production and manufacturing in architecture and product design. We saw their work at IDS2012 and were completely captivated by their felt pieces.
Double-dip Bench
We simply adore the distinctiveness of the double-dip bench. Composed with designer felt from The Felt Store draping  down to create a storage for your favorite reading material - simply genius!
Bookseat
Another contemporary piece made by Fishtnk is the Bookseat - showing that a chair can now be more than just a "chair". Also with our designer felt in use, we are crazy about how the green gives it that vibrant pop of colour! This was a terrific find amongst many in the Studio North section of the IDS2012 show.

BOCCI

25 Bench
25 Bench
The 25 bench is by Omer Arbel for Bocci,  we love how he accented the felt with ruching to create a simple seat into a stylish work of art. The grey felt allows it to work perfectly in any environment, whether it be at a home, restaurant, art gallery, boutique or the office.
