DIY St. Patrick’s Day Shamrocks

Quick and easy to make, this St. Patrick’s Day Shamrock is a great way to decorate any space so that you’re ready for the festivities! St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and we have a quick and easy craft to get you in the Shamrockin’ spirit! These Shamrocks can be used as decorations for a St. Patrick’s Day themed party or just to brighten up any room. You can hang them using ribbon, attach them directly to any surface using some adhesive, make a key chain and much more! We are showing you how to make one size, but you can change the measurements below to make larger or smaller Shamrocks. What You'll Need: Stiff Felt Sheets - 12” x 12” Ruler Rotary cutter or fabric scissors Hot glue gun and sticks Ribbon (optional) Instructions: 1. With your Stiff Felt Sheets , rotary blade and ruler , cut 4 strips measuring 1 inch wide by 12 inches long and 4 strips measuring 1 inch wide by 10 inches long. You should have a total of 8 strips. October Is An Excuse for Pumpkin Everything!

Hello October and readers!


October is here and if you're still in awe at how fast the month has arrived (did we skip September!?) Well, I guess this post won't help your bewilderment, because with October comes pumpkin everything! And while you sip that pumpkin spice latte or eat that pumpkin pie. I've got a list of felt pumpkin projects you can add to the mix! It's pumpkin overload and it's only the first day of the month.

Well if you're a pumpkin lover, the great thing about this list is that the pumpkins aren't for a limited time and won't decompose. These Pumpkins will last all year round if you want them to!


1) DIY Felted Pumpkin

This is great project even if you're just dipping your toes into needle felting. Homesteady has a full tutorial for you to follow!

2) Pumpkin Man

Pumpkins and Halloween go hand in hand and I'm doing a throw back Thursday with this one. Created on the Martha Stewart show back in 2007, decorate your house with this felt project.

3) Pom Pom Pumpkins

Okay this may not be felt per say, but this DIY is too cute not to add and it will still last forever!
