Disney Frozen Inspired Felt Easter Basket Tutorial

Hi guys,

Here is a really simple and easy felt Easter basket tutorial! The twist is I've gotten on the Frozen bandwagon, and I think your kids will love going on an egg hunt with this basket! Below are the instructions on how to create our Frozen Inspired Felt Easter Basket! Egg hunting just got struck by the Frozen wand.

Materials
Glue Gun
Scissors

Start by folding your felt in half

I cut two slits 7cm in length from the edge. This will be the flaps of your basket

I basically folded the flaps together and decided to leave the shorter flaps outside and the longer rectangle piece inside. I glued them together, and was left with the shape of the basket as seen above!

Than taking the lighter blue felt I cut two strips the width of a standard ruler. This will be the handles of the basket. I glued the two strips together to ensure the strap is sturdy.

I glued the straps on each end of the finished basket so you should be left with something like the image above. Now you're ready to glue the snowflakes!

I decided to use the medium sized snowflakes and flushed them in the corner and towards the center. You're more than welcome to place the snowflakes where ever you please.

And there you have it a super duper easy felt basket! It didn't take me very long to make since there was sewing involved.

Happy hunting!
